I primarily work in acrylic on canvas. I have many influences -the Hudson River School, Impressionism, the Ashcan School, Social Realism, Dutch genre painting. You can see this in my paintings. My wife nags me that I have my paint stuff all over the place, but someday when I'm in the Metropolitan Museum of Art she'll see it was all worth it.
